Here's the idea. Friends at dinner, my Thursday golf group, neighbours at the cottage ... we all have interesting discussions about news items, columns, articles that have caught our attention.  Most/none of us post, comment.  Some of them are Luddites, some of us are lazy, all of us loathe the overall calibre of comment streams. Next point: my creative talent -- if I have one at all -- is building and improving on a theme, idea, etc.
So ... I'll take the initiative (initially), grab a column or item or article, and do something with it. Praise and build ... Diss and destroy ... maybe a little of both.  Then you have at it.  But here enters another thing: I do have a little ego and this blog is mine and you already heard my opinion of comment streams. So I'm going to curate the comments. Most just come through normally.  Really good interesting ones get featured. Rude, stupid, moronically biased crap gets either deep-sixed or mocked cruelly.
Other than the part where I do my part, the only way this works is if you participate, share, like, forward, etc.  That way we have fun, talk, learn stuff.  Ideally I become a media star and get a book deal or something -- sort of like an ugly Kelly Oxford; but I'll settle for fun.
